The deadline for setting your groups and your research topic is March 20 during our class.
Groups should have 4 members and your topic must take into consideration both the syllabus and our calendar.

Students who do not contact me till the set date will not be able to do the research project.

Katy Perry's "Bon Appétit"  is a video comparing a woman to a meal, ready to be devoured, as indicated by not only the visual themes throughout the video, but also by the lyrics.  The video starts with some squirting noises as the name of the song is coated onto some batter, followed by a  neon “NSFW” (Not Safe for Work) which marks the start of a rather disturbing experience. Katy Perry appears covered in saran wrap, much like a steak, and is presented to the viewer with skin-colored, form-fitting lingerie. A group of knife-sharpening chefs surround her, cut her out, and push her into a vat of flour, like one would do to batter, before pounding it (which I think is the metaphor they were going for here).  The group of chefs then roll her out like dough, twisting her body in several disturbing ways. Kendall Jenner e a Pepsi

Bom dia colegas e Professora Diana. Creio que muitos de vocês já viram ou ouviram falar do novo anúncio da Pepsi, que se tornou viral nas redes sociais e afins. Para quem não viu, o anúncio tem 2 minutos e conta com a participação da "famosa" Kendall Jenner (nem sei bem porque é famosa, só conheço o nome), que se junta a uma manifestação de jovens e traz a paz ao mundo ao entregar uma lata de Pepsi a um dos agentes da autoridade presentes na rua. Para quem não viu aqui vai o anúncio. Automaticamente, ao ver este anúncio, lembrei-me do anúncio de desodorizante de que a Professora falou numa das aulas. Pelo que percebi ambos os anúncios são iguais, uma manifestação, pessoas de braços levantados a gritar, etc., algo que pode ilustrar milhares de produtos e ideias, alguns até bastante significativos.
